Postdoctoral position in analysis and management of high-throughput data for bacterial phenotype and infection outcome prediction

This Wellcome Trust funded post is part of a multi-disciplinary collaboration (together with researchers at the University of Bristol, Trinity College Dublin and University College Cork) aiming to define the critical host-pathogen interactions that affect patient outcome during Staphylococcus aureus bloodstream infections. The main purpose of this job is to support a team of computational biologists, immunologists and microbiologists with the management and subsequent analyses of high-dimensional datasets to be used for the development of statistical and computational pipelines to fully characterise the role of, and the interactions between, bacteria genotype and phenotype and the host immune response in determining infection outcomes.
