Research Fellow – Bayesian Genomic Epidemiology & Arbovirus Surveillance, NUS (Singapore)
CERM at NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health is seeking a Research Fellow to develop Bayesian semi-mechanistic models integrating genomic, serological, and epidemiological data for real-time inference of transmission dynamics and variant fitness. Focus areas include arbovirus (DENV, ZIKV) lineage surveillance across South and South-East Asia, with opportunities in deep generative modelling for pathogen genomics. Requires a PhD, strong PPL experience (Stan/NumPyro/PyMC), and familiarity with phylodynamic or renewal equation methods.
