This role is part of a new collaborative research programme between Imperial Global Singapore and the National University of Singapore (NUS) within Singapore’s national PREPARE programme, focused on developing mathematical models to strengthen preparedness for future epidemic threats in Singapore. The postholder will lead the development of pathogen-agnostic transmission models for future respiratory virus threats, drawing on the literature to build model frameworks that can be rapidly adapted for emerging pathogens and used to identify key data needs and evaluate response options.
