This role is part of a new collaborative research programme between Imperial Global Singapore and the National University of Singapore (NUS) within Singapore’s national PREPARE programme, focused on developing mathematical models to strengthen preparedness for future epidemic threats in Singapore. The postholder will lead the development of pathogen-agnostic epidemiological models for respiratory and mosquito-borne diseases, work with teams to identify national data needs to support the models’ use, use the modelling frameworks to evaluate early containment options, and ensure that the modelling tools can be rapidly adapted to emerging threats.
